Prodigy eWorld closed its doors on March 31st, 1996. It lives on, in a sense, in the influence it had on the evolution of America Online and Microsoft Network. I miss my fellow co-workers, and the people that turned the meeting place we erected into a thriving community. For the most part, the community is still alive and well, though. Talk City has inherited more than a few of the people (both employees and participants) that made eWorld such a good place to visit. Good luck to them in the "big lab" (private joke :-)
